Spotted these abandoned beasts on my travels a while ago. Id love one of these to run and the owner to sell. Apparently the owner won't part with them.

The Rover from there was saved and then fragged due to rot. I'd imagine the Cav and Maestro are far worse.

The Maestro isn’t that bad, it’s just it’s a Maestro and even a good one isn’t worth a light. The Cavalier is beyond saving having seen it, the shelter type thing they sit in is in a pretty poor state, eventually it’ll flatten them when it falls down. I think the place was called Jetberg and the guy that owns it is called Grenville. 

By far and away most interesting car out that way is that Cortina that was welded up all to cock and managed to have the entire back end distorted. It looks like how I feel on a Wednesday.

I don't remember a Cortina?

I seem to remember seeing a video of the Metro which was liberated a few years back - someone got it running before it left the site. Didn't the early mk2 Astra leave in one piece too? I assume they're no longer in one piece now.

The Cortina was out Swadlincote way, it was a green X plate estate
