Should be but now you've expressed an interest I'll ask at work and see if it's for the Friday and Saturday night. It'll depend on whether the cleaning staff want the overtime on the Sunday.

If @wuvvum takes one room they'll be two other ensuite rooms available - last year they charged £25 per room for the two nights. It's about 20 minutes drive from the campsite.

Anyone got any good ideas for extra-curricular activities?  We did the Llanberis railway and the slate museum last year (the latter several orders of magnitude more interesting than it sounds).

Best avoided on a summer's weekend anyway. What would people prefer - drive to scenic destination or to somewhere transport related? No shortage of scenic routes to drive to round here! Transport related:

No it’s mostly 60mph limit with average speed, still fun. Especially in something underpowered! Last time I went up I ended up disputing a photoshoot of some kind of super car with my Saab 9000…

There's a lesser know triangle the other side of the A5, along equally wild moorland but smaller roads. More for the scenery than a speedy drive, but I'll post up details later. Although it's a trek from Llanberis so maybe better on the journey there/back.
