155V6
Ok,not exactly barn finds, but nobody has been there for at least a couple of years. My Dad is not too well,& has finally admitted that he's never going to do anything with various cars he has. After losing the keys to the lockup,& not knowing the code for the security gate,my Brother & I finally got everything sorted & went to see what was in there. First view after opening the door He had the Alfa 33 Sportwagon on the road in the late nineties,it's been off the road in various places since then. It's rusty in places but looks saveable In front of it is this Lancia Beta Spider He bought it sometime around 20 years ago,the bodywork had been restored,& it ran,but the clutch had gone.I towed it home with my Fiat Coupe. He never did fix the clutch,& never had it on the road. There are also various parts from Italian cars Today was just a 1st look to see what was in there. The plan now is to try & sell everything in the lockup as it would save my Dad a fair bit in rent,& also get him some cash from the sale of the cars & parts CreepingJesus, BlankFrank, gm and 18 others

155V6
Update on this My Brother posted the 33 on the Alfa Owners Club, there was a lot if interest & someone agreed to buy it almost straight away! After speaking about what else was in the garage he said he might be interested in the Lancia too,in the end he made an offer for everything in the garage 😀 He came down in a van last week & took all the parts,we also pumped up the tyres which were flat & freed off the brakes on the Lancia Today he sent his mate down with a transporter & trailer to collect the cars The Alfa was first out The Lancia next The first time anyone had seen the front for 15+ years And off to their new home in the North wesacosa, timolloyd, gm and 7 others
Dick Longbridge
Sorry to hear your father isn't well. Great outcome on moving the cars on though - sounds like they've gone to a proper Italian tin enthusiast. Is he going to recommission them? The Beta really catches my eye; always fancied the look of them. I remember in the late 80s a Lancia perv used to live just down from the local chippy and one day an immaculate white Beta tintop appeared. It sat for ages and even as a kid I couldn't believe the bloke had laid up such an immaculate looking car. Maybe the underside was a different story. Even by that point, most on the road looked pretty shoddy.

I think his plans are to eventually use the 33 as a tow car for his Alfasud racer,& the Lancia as a summer car. Both do need work, the 33 needs a fair bit of welding but the Lancia is really solid as it was restored & not used on the road since 5speedracer and Dick Longbridge
