EDIT:

Voting threads are here for your attention:
February  March April May  June July August September October November December January

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Right then folks, as per this thread:

I was brave daft enough to put my hand up to arrange this years ovishul Autoshite calendar.  Time is not our friend on this as you will all want* to peel back that white/brown envelope and start marking time in fine style on the 1st of February.  I'll do all that I can to make that happen, but bear with me please.

I'll bump the nomination threads shortly, plop your submissions on those (remember that it's member vehicles only, but by all means nominate your own rammel).  I'll start the polls late Thursday - I think I can add further nomination to the poll, but you can only vote once for each month.  In order to get the calendar designed and the order off to the printers anything like on time, I'll have to close the polls on Monday 23rd, I'm working that night so it will be quickly compiled in a 'lunch hour'.  There are three months November 2023June 2023 and this month where we are a bit light in submissions, if you have anything that tickled your fancy from any months, but those three especially, please post it, the more the merrier.

The cost this year is going to be around the £10.00 mark (depending on order volumes), I know that it was £9.00 last year but there has been a lot of Ukraine/Energy price rises/Brexit/COVID/Prime Minister changes/death of a Monarch/Strikes/Neowhatsitism <-- delete invalid excuses where appropriate.  I'm not making anything from this, I can assure you of that.

To cut a bit of cost I will use (my) child labour to stuff and address the envelopes and my employers have kindly donated* calendar mailers free of charge.  For the shiters who are in the area of the 'pimple on the arsehole of mankind' (Orpington, London/Kent borders) you may get hand delivery as I'll borrow my kids bus pass, or persuade the Audi to turn money into forward motion and smoke.

Lastly, please can I have a show of hands as to who would like a calendar? Bung your name down with an expression of interest (and a quantity if you would like more than one).  I'll borrow Brownnova's idea of a form to fill in to take address details etc, and I'll work out taking payment when I have an order total.

One here please, with international postage on top

I am formulating a plan for international postage.  I'll get your details once the orders are in, it may get couriered to one of our group offices at work and then locally posted, or it may get posted from the UK.  I'll let you know.

You can't post parcels overseas with Royal Mail at the moment.  They have been cyber attacked.

Thanks for that, I'm seeing if I can pull in a few favours at work and courier calendars to our overseas distributors for them to put into their local post, avoiding the RM issue.

It involves me having to be nice to my boss, which is giving me dry heaves even thinking about 🤢

It’s January, so that must meant it’s time to do the calendar again! I’ll give you until the end of Saturday to add any last minute submissions (I’ll bump all the threads today- remember it’s the car of a member posted on here or submit your own) and on Sunday I’ll set up the voting threads.
From there we’ll have a week of voting to decide on each month’s image.
After that I will post the winning images up so you can see if you want one!  You can order by putting your name down below in the usual list style. (You can do that before you know the winners if you're brave enough) I ESTIMATE that the cost will be around £8.50.  That was roughly what it was last year, so providing Brexit or Covid haven’t put the prices up immeasurably it should be about that.
I’ll close off the ordering on about the 18th in order to get them printed and sent out to you before February 1st when the calendar begins.  (If you’re new to AS, yes our calendar is a bit broken and runs February to January)
There were go then... any questions do ask... I probably won’t know the answers!
