The kids lasted until 2:43 a.m. so legitimate Secret Santa opened through bleary eyes…

A bit of bit of bling

Some fine* china and a very useful (genuinely) mini screwdriver set as Mrs ODM has been threatening to pilfer my gear for a “House set of tools”

Sadly due to food allergies (wheat & soya) I can’t eat the biscuits so Mrs D has dibbed them.

I’ll have a good look through the laptop’s software later & hopefully it’ll take a hooky version of Tech-II and BMW software for the fleet.

My secret Santa got me an awesome collection of cable ties, air fresheners, and electrical tape. I'm now checking the security to my security cameras at home, as I'd been chatting to Mrs groovy that I used the last of the cable ties on the bloody Xmas lights, and I need some for the mosquito 😳🤣 thanks Secret Santa 🎅

Mints, chocolates and a Christmas 1985 Autocar magazine full of shite.

Road tests include the Skyship 500 (the article doesn't mention it but I'm fairly sure it's the airship that was in A View To A Kill) compared to a range of alternatives from the Harrier, through the space shuttle to a beer dray.

And the first Peugeot built in Britain, the 309

Got hold of mine today, thanks AS Santa - had my eye on this book so really appreciate it! Very thoughtful.

Really lucky Santa packed it in a waterproof bag as Evri left it outside with no note through the door so the box was piss wet through!

Also big thanks to @95 quid Peugeotfor organising again.

Tanks! AS Sandy Claws!

Oh cheers for the gummy bears too!

Edit - saw it was sent yesterday on the label. Whoever sent this. Thank you very much! I wasn't expecting anything and I feel bad someone went to the effort. Still appreciate it anyway.

I'm just about to go to a place to purchase another financial mistake shitbox, I won't be revealing where I'm going or what I'm buying until it happens. In the meantime, let's have a fun* guessing game as to what I'm buying and from where!!!

It’s been a while but the familiar ache/burn got too much and I gave in again. For context I was bidding on a certain vehicle on eBay in early August, missed out on winning it by a fiver or something and called it a draw. As we all know this feeling of nonchalance manifests itself in a desire to do better next time. I put it down to be being the wrong time for such things, seeing as though child number 3 was due to be born in about 60 days’ time. With that in mind, and the feeling of freedom of the first day free from work and/or childcare since March  I put my pushbike on the train, rode it a few stops and  got out at Leeds urban bike park, where I was having a lovely time until I decided to have one more go at a set of jumps. The ground came out of nowhere and twatted me goodstyle in various places, mainly my left (dominant) arm which broke either side of the elbow.
None of this matters a great deal but today finds me able to drive again and having won a subsequent eBay auction for a similar vehicle. The first part of the journey is on foot, in to the depths of Ravensthorpe no less
