JimH
I posted this elsewhere last week but it is worth repeating here. The shots of the wibbly whining wobbly doors opening and closing suggests they hadn't spent a fortune on this prototype. JimH
Let's keep it positive. I love this one. And I really love the way the interior was going. I find it hard to believe that the gear shift would have a hope in hell of working. Fortunately steaming big chunks of the car did make it into production. All very wacky. This is mine.... from 18 years ago. It's a concept for an amphibious commuter car to make use of the Thames for direct access to central London. Uses a hybrid hydroplane / trimaran hull with retractable wheels. Sadly the model is a bit the worse for wear these days. HillmanImp
I used to love the Ferrari Pinin as a kid. Had it in a book I got for Christmas. Proportions look a bit off these days though but were fine back then to me. RoadworkUK, JimH, mk2_craig and 5 others

I agree; the Doblo owes much to this rather wonderful concept car- which would look fresh if launched now! 😎
