We used to go to the chip shop that was on the corner opposite the car park for our tea. We used to go to an Italian ice cream place further along for Knickerbocker glories. I saw a shark washed up by those fisherman’s huts. It was probably about 2-3 foot long but seemed huge as I was only about 7 at the time.
