Attended this show today at the Dunaskin Railway Heritage Centre (it was local, and used my favourite word, FREE) and thought some of the photos I taken were worth sharing. Admittedly the quality is a bit patchy from the zoom etc as it was just the mobile phone since I forgot my DSLR. Faceache link for all the details is here.

There was a few clubs in attendance, including the West Coast Classic Car Club and the Ayr Retro Car Club, to name a few. There were also some motorbike groups present but I didn't get photos as I'm not really into most bikes and that. I also got meet one of my Dad's old friends who was there with his father's Mk1 MX5.

I've linked the piccies via Flickr as the file sizes are surprisingly massive.

How about a Scorpion tank?

I do like a good looking Quattro.

Good looking Cortina here. Was more orange in real life, with matching orange interior. Proper droolworthy stuff.

This Marina was rather nice. It's very AS in terms of having a "loved" condition. Stood out as a result compared to the more immaculate classics here.

Ovlov 850 and a V12 7-series. Be still my beating heart.

A Daf 33 that I caught as it was leaving.

There was also a Y-reg 406 in the show, makes me feel old. Some more modern stuff, like a souped-up Scooby. Plus some other stuff I missed/couldn't get photos of, but you get the idea.

Finally, some cool things that weren't in the show.

This 306 actually belongs to a woman that my Mum knows. It's her daily driver. I also forgot to photograph an Audi 80 convertible, 2003 Seat Toledo, and a G-reg Nova SR that were in the car park.

think that's everything. :)

I was there as well early on as I was heading to a wee show at Kirkcudbright.
Here is a photo of the Daft hing. And an Opal thing.

The Opel was a nice wee hing too, completely missed getting a photo of it.

There was also a Mk2 Escort RS kicking about in yellow that I never managed to get a photo of as there was constantly swarms of folk around it.
