2003 C5 exclusiveness!

Have to agree, i think that's a bit poor of the bodyshop to send it out with a separate bodywork issue to what it went in with as a result of their work. Bonnet looks a good job to be fair but can't help but feel if you'd put a newish Audi in for similar level of work, they'd not have sent it back out with lacquer ripped off the wings.

Would at least hope they knocked a bit off the invoice if nothing else.

Chilled is good!

There’s no point being wound up about it, I have no idea of the origins of the paintwork on the wings and tbh, masking 20 year old paint is always a risk……

im not upset at them, and I’ll use them again

I never really get upset about this sort of stuff

plus many other green blooded relatively!

460 miles in total, did it on 3/4 tank of E5!

no issues with the car, it was great

Fantastic! This is always a great meet. Gutted I didn’t make it this year.

Good thing you bought this and not my sister’s 2.2 as that’s just decided to clogs it DPF… again… when I’m a million miles away.

it was excellent!!

yeah this C5 is quite a miracle really, a staggeringly good car for the money

zero mechanical faults, and seems to average around 45 mpg on a run

Didn’t realise you are without a rear wiper - a terrible omisssion surely

It does make it look much more saloon like though.

tbh, it's not too bad actually, doesn't seem to really get any road dirt or water on the window while driving

unlike my previous estate which would cover the rear end in crap instantly during winter

attempted to change the transmission fluid yesterday, could i hell get the drain plug off, so decided to leave it for now before i make it worse

oh, i accidentally knocked the plug from my lexia kit out of the OBD socket while in parameter measurements

it does not like that!

it went dead, no cluster or screens on at all nor interior lights or anything......bugger!

got it all back thank god after letting it rest for a bit

strangely i had no dialogue with most of the ECUs during the global test just before....suspect i might have an issue with my kit

anyway......nothing really to report

hasn't given me any issues really!

mind you i don't do too many miles these days (around 200 or so a week at most i'd say!)

took it over to Darlington today, 30 mile or so round trip

doesn't it look absolutely fantastic!

this is really a cracking car
