Schaefft
If FOTU isn't cool enough (or you just like cocaine a lot) Radwood might just be the right car show for you. Its been around for quite a few years at this point (unlike in 2019 when it came to the UK for the first time), it's not exactly Autoshite but I remember meeting a few shiters there before so I thought I'd post the link here! https://www.carthrottle.com/post/radwood-80s-and-90s-car-festival-is-coming-to-the-uk-this-august/ HillmanImp, tom13, dome and 1 other 2
brownnova
Rad wood is this coming Saturday! Seeing as I missed FOTU this year I’ve booked ticket for this! I shall be in the TransSport! Anyone else going? Lacquer Peel
Schaefft
I'll definitely be there in the Lincoln, it would be great to see more shiters! Also looking forward to seeing the transsport in person! brownnova
w00dy
I missed this otherwise I would've certainly failed to get the Probe ready, rather than not trying at all.
JakeT
I’m there in my 1993 Bavarian Sierra. Had to miss FoTU this year too, so I’m over-excited for this. Schaefft
GR8 PL8 M8
I've already spotted dollywobbler, brownnova, and Schaefft... I'm here in my ute, which got directed to the wrong parking area. I'd have washed it if I'd known it was going to be on show! stripped fred

Ghosty
Was intending to be there but would have had to go alone and didn't feel I could be arsed with the drive. Instead I'm with my mate in Manchester riding Bromptons. I'm happy at least.

Schaefft
Turnout was much better than expected considering most posts I've seen didn't result in many comments. In the end there were hundreds of rad cars there, some really obscure stuff that didn't make it to FOTU for one reason or another and also all the 80s and 90s icons you'd expect to find there. Too many photos so just a few impressions. sdkrc, Longbridge Apologist, wesacosa and 2 others

Saw the Lincoln - looking luuurvely! Also saw Dollywobbler’s GSA (possibly the only Citroen in attendance? And was this @alcyonecorporation? Had some fun, rocked double denim and curtain hair for the day, saw some cracking motors! Will upload more photos… but not enough signal at my campsite for much uploading! JakeT
Saw the Lincoln, looking great. Also saw brownnovas Trans Sport and DWs Citroen. Agreed. Great day out, and even the arcade machines were excellent too. There were a huge amount of Ferraris, but they aren’t for me personally.

brownnova
Really great range of cars at this to be fair. I think this event deserves to do well moving forward. Price of entry… a bit steep, but the whole set up was really good, and I hope they keep adding more to it. Best cars… (other than the ones posted above…) BL Bloke, Six-cylinder, mitsisigma01 and 3 others

Surprised no-one wanted to talk to me about it. When Ian went round in his video, the boot was up because it had tried to piss down (and I wanted some different lenses for my camera). You defo saw it after that because the drivers' window is up; A/C doesn't work at the moment and the door card is quick release so I can pop the window up and down by hand. The motor works but the sleeve lock regulator that grabs the cable has broken - the cable is stuck somewhere in the door. It's a really common fault and mine was fine until I made the mistake of letting it sit in a car park and build up a load of crap along the trailing edge. It needs a new starter and battery; I'm so paranoid of it failing to proceed that I keep two jump packs and a block of wood with which to twat the starter. Sometimes it needs as many as two (2) jump packs, sometimes it'll start on its own. The dearth of voltage is screwing quite a few things up, but it behaved immaculately at Radwood. The JDM prop helps the bonnet struts, which work on a part-time basis. tom13
I went with the family and thought it was a really good show. Nice vibe no egos sort of thing. I thought Entry was cheap. £20 per car no matter how many people is a good idea really. It many limit the number of entrants though as some may car share? Planes were a nice addition. Will post some pics in a bit.

AnthonyG
What does Rad refer to? It doesn’t look very radical…the only reference I can think of.
brownnova
According to a website somewhere… They used the quintessential 80s word “Rad” (meaning radical, or cool, if you were completely asleep, or not alive, during the 80s) and “Wood” as in Goodwood, Lord March’s place in the UK where theGoodwood Festival of Speed and Member’s Meeting take place each year. CaptainBoom
I've got to admit, I skim-read the title and thought it said 'Radweld', figured I'd see a whole load of vehicles with late stage OMGHGF. Going by the pictures, it looks really good - bookmarked for next year alcyonecorporation and AnthonyG 1
