We should start a funky colour interior thread. GM loved interesting interiors in the 70s/80s. Green, red, orange, blue…. Lovely!!

We have cars in colour, let's see your colourful interiors

I loved the red interior in my Escort Ghia but in a time of film cameras, never took a pic, so a video screen grab is the best I can do

A few worthy of mention I think...

The coffee and caramel theme of my BX continues as much inside as out.

My parents had a Fiat Panda Fizz back around 2002 or so which was very green both inside and out.

A Mercedes S123 with a very blue interior - which I think was an absolutely spot on contrast to the wood trim.

Similar shades were the general theme in my much missed Saab 900.

Few years before that one I had an earlier one which was as brown as that one was blue.

Didn't have that one very long so tend to forget about it.

Finally the Cavalier that I'll finally be in a position to take delivery of in the next few weeks is rather colourful.

Think aside from those it's been the usual sea of grey and black.

The Jag was beige on beige but wasn't really colourful in the spirit of this thread I think.

I'd still take it over black which most of them I'd been in before were any day of the week though.

Couple of  blues and a caramel, I never actually owned that Senator though sadly.

I had to do a double take then, thought that was my Senator until I noticed it was an earlier model with later wheel. Subtle differences to centre console & gear shift visible here:

Was this one, I was offered both this and the Carlton behind for 100 quid, Carlton was to far gone but before I could acquire the Senator we went back into full lockdown. Have since seen it on eBay for 5 grand with a respray and the holes in the roof seemingly repaired.

Still has an advisory list as long as the car itself though….

Great thread

I think that's one of the biggest issues with moderns, the interiors are often shit, they're generally just boring bloody black sometimes relieved by wanky mood lighting with a crappy digital display stuck somewhere. I like funky colours, velour or snazzy fabrics,  colour keyed trim, maybe the odd bit of wood trim.

It's time manufacturers got an imagination again !

£100! Sorry you missed out on it. Nothing looks too serious in the advisories but seems to be something odd about the mileage from previous.

'My' 1988 Stellar Gold Medal Edition which I had to let go in 2017 had a lovely homely beige interior.  The next one is my 1961 Reliant Regal MKVI. Its interior is certainly colourful but also extremely basic.  A Peugeot 205 which we had a few years ago had a streak of colour here and there which brightened up the drab grey.
