25v6turbo
I,ve had several people ask me to list the known survivors both roadworthy or not..Now this is of course rather difficult,as some i have listed4 odd years ago as roadworthy, may in 2010 not be..Not all the cars i,ve got the regs which is a shame, and i need help with a couple, but here goes,1 my own car G250 DOV,fully roadworthy, pampered to death, you know the story!.2 Nigel bickles G280 CPH,not roadworthy but hopefully will be soon.3 mrreno-139 cars(or friends cars)i believe this to be a black phase 1(reg?)and on your photobucket pics(excellent!!)you show C145 JGP in the garden, and as posted recently F442 MAA recently scrapped.4 Paul sage,a Renault GTA specialist lovely silver car F444 EKE,shown as sorned which is suprising as this car was lovely when i last saw it,trying to find out why its not on the road.5 F82 PLW owned by a renault fan but has had hard rear end damage and is shortly to be broken up last taxed 2002,in contact with owner for some parts.6 F846 EBV,Black phase 2,not taxed since 2006,not sorned, possible broken up?7 F600 SFB,this car was on e-bay not to long ago,had a modified engine, different wheels and a strange exhaust exiting out of the centre of the rear bumper, this car is sorned but i think it still survives, maybe the running gear will be removed.8 lovely red phase 1 sold in Ireland, sure this car still exists, have just contacted the previous owner to ask details etc of Reg and if its still roadworthy.9 Red phase 1 D898 BGU,owned by the RTOC vice president i think, not roadworthy, but waiting for an update to its progress, again e-mailed owner today for more info.My list also contains these cars JRU 718N(private reg)phase 1,C280 PMX(rtoc presidents 2nd car)F426 MLT,grey phase 2 burn,t valve, heads removed on e-bay 3 years ago, these cars i think no longere exist, all broken up or scrapped due to damage or bad mechainal condition,What i do need is the REG of the one someone on here spotted and took a picture for me with a smashed windscreen the picture was from the back, anyone find that post for me??Sorry its hard reading, but several people have contacted me to list what i know, and this is about it.Its not until i read the list correctly and went through it again car by car did i realise that theres only ONE car thats actually roadworthy MOT/TAXED,and thats mine!!!!!!!From the listed cars even some of the know non roadworthy cars are on there last legs, thats why i put out the pleee to find any more,i do need the pic of that Phase 2 listed on the forum as i don,t have this written downThe DVLA couldn,t tell me the number of survivors for some reason? But it would be interesting to find any more. Rusty Pelican
Sounds like a very high mortality rate , any idea how many were sold in the UK or how many made , would be interesting just how many were sold in relation to whats ( almost nout ) left. mouseflakes
Here, I have to hang my head in shame as I let this one get away - as you will probably remember Mr T. I'm still kicking myself.  The vehicle details for D800 POO are:  Date of Liability 01 03 2008 Date of First Registration 26 09 1986 Year of Manufacture 1986 Cylinder Capacity (cc) 2458CC CO2 Emissions Not Available Fuel Type Petrol Export Marker Export Vehicle Status Unlicensed Vehicle Colour WHITE
j-j
Blimey, there are a lot more CXs on the road than 25s. The Series 1 R25 is stunning - really like that dark red one.Last year while working in Staines, I saw a grey S2 R25 a few times - it was traveling on the road from Thorpe to Staines. peter9000uk
If it was a really late one it may have been the one I sold. MrReno very kindly supplied all 4 side glass as some oik and smashed them and the car was destined to the scrapper.
25v6turbo
I forgot about that white phase1 ,looks a really clean car,but yet another one not taxed, how much was it?I was told that only 16 Turbos a month were imported into the U.K and only Renault performance centres could sell them, same as the GTA,only around 30-40 dealers in the u.k had this title,Renault Birmingham who sold my car being one of them,a special tailgate badge showed the centres logo this itself is very hard to find in excellent condition,i should have a bit more info on some of the listed cars shortly...p.s still not found that picture of the dumped PHASE 2 with the broken screen,HELP! Guest
Are these the ones that get broken up for Alpine GTA Turbos? I didn't realise so few were extant, but it's fitting that Mr. Bickle has one.More Piazzas around than 25 Turbos it seems.....
25v6turbo
Yep thats the ones, favourite for GTAS and kit car builders,i guess thats why they are nearly bit thin on the ground, but i think its now come to the stage people have realised that they are worth saving, but i fear its a bit late!!!
