Is the incoming eye-talian?

I'll say no to this one but I'm not going to answer any more direct questions for fear of giving too much away.

Ah, thought there was a picture clue earlier. Chodspeed.

Hmm, not really good at clues without giving too much away. Though in a wierd way @LightBulbFun is closer than he thinks though you'll never guess why when you see it. It's not a bus though.

Ooh Surrey registered like your other Skoda, I wonder if its from the same dealer?

no raised digit plate tho sadly LOL

Didn't realise that, well done. The reason I said you were nearest is because it is a thing with an engine from another thing. I would love an RT but not until I have my own farm with a barn to keep it in.

Well, the first thing has fallen off! I was driving along with the window down and we went over a bump and the window disappeared in to the door!

Fortunately I was carrying a light tool kit.

About as much as I thought sensible to take on a train, but it was enough to get the door trim off.

So I managed to get the window back in the runners but it doesn't feel like a good fit so I've done it up to wedge them in place for now and I've opened the sunroof instead. We're all good now.

The tin or box behind the milk. Maybe I was overthinking it...

Yay, at last. It's been five five years since I bought a car, which must be something of a record, and that was only seven miles away so didn't warrant a thread.

I'm not off just yet. I've had a disappointing breakfast.

You were overthinking it, that's the tin we keep the dog food in. We'll done for trying though.

I have reached Cirencester and nothing else has fallen off. We are now parked here for a colourful combo.

It obviously goes well but the exhaust could be quieter. There's also a clonk underneath, sounds like it might be a bush in the steady bar that links the gearbox to the body. But overall it drives well. It has Felicia power steering too.

Well, we're back. My potato cam resolutely refuses to focus on the car in dim light so here are some fuzzy pics.

Or is it my eyes, they don't look so bad now.

Dash by night.

125bhp and I get a big clock! The other one has 61bhp and gets a tacho. Never mind.

We'll have to wait until morning to introduce the two properly as there's no room on the drive for it.

That would suit a set of the Favorit Blackline alloys IMO.

Funny you should say that, I was watching these on ebay.

Essentially a 15" version of the Ronal wheels used on the Silverline and Blackline. The originals are 13" but won't fit on this car because it has had bigger discs fitted. 14"s might fit but what it has at the moment are15" Team Dynamics. I'd rather they were white, I think the white works really well with bold solid colours but these are in really good nick and have Pirellis all round so they are staying for now.

Those look quite nice. It's 4x100 yeah? You could mibbie steal some Lupo wheels... :)

Funny you should say that (again). I've lost the unlocking nut for the Felicia wheels and had to invest £13 in some locking wheel nut removers from ebay which I am expecting any day now. Assuming they work, to recoup my costs I was thinking of setting up a sideline in stolen alloys.

Disclaimer : I am joking, but it does seem a shame to only use them once.
