Six-cylinder Posted April 3, 2022 Share Posted April 3, 2022 This weekend has been the Citroen X Rally near Milton Keynes, featured Citroens being those with X in the model name. Because it is the 40th birthday of the BX this year I got mine out early season and took it along to form a gathering of 20 Citroen BXs. All Citroens were welcome so I also found a volunteer on the Rally field to help me get my Ami there as it is my new toy! I believe my young volunteer enjoyed his work as he got to drive my Mercedes CLK back from MOT before delivering the BX GTi to the rally field for me. I also got to try a couple of cars and was lent a 2009 Pluriel 1.4 manual for a run out and @GoGently kindly let me drive his 2014 C3 1.2 turbo 80 bhp while helping me get my cars home. All models of Citroen are welcomed to attend both events. @Six-cylinder and I usually manage to sneak in a Visa or two, along with the XM, ZX, C15 and whatever else is road-legal and on the drive at the time. Will look to head out to one of those Yeah, CCC events always very welcoming and usually open to non-members for just a few quid more. I went for years as a non-member before joining up. TBH Club XM has everything you need for XM life (as I think you are finding as I still read it regularly, though my old XM is on here with @chodweaver) but I thought it was nice to contribute and the monthly magazine is worth a read. The first time there I had a 07 daily c5 hdi in white, and the next time a well known xantia activa.
