KruJoe
Another chance at this; ends today, no bids, no reserve. To me it's the ultimate 800 spec, I'm surprised it hasn't had more attention. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/120892910779 Lack of test can't be helping, but it prolly won't need much. hhhugues
Well you're in luck it's only £1 ! Seriously if it had any MOT left on it this would be parked in front of my house already. I've been looking for a cool* RHD to export back to France for a while and that fits the bill very well indeed. I don't dare to think what mad expense could be required to keep it road legal until it gets back to the motherland though : (

Largactil
Double Troublehttp://www.ebay.ie/itm/280863070546 car has a bit of rust No shit Sherlock. The BiL has one of these - I borrowed it for a few weeks last summer, while awaiting the arrival of parts for my shed-mobile. Great fun to hoon around in...Proper old skool hot hatch funnage. He took it off the road in December to investigate the bubbly rear arch / sill...And has ended up lopping huge holes in the three-quarter panel on both sides, contemplating a re-shell, before eventually borrowing a welder and making a start. A tin-worm fav it would definitely seem...

eddyramrod
Unlikely, I think it's the 1275 engine they want. IIRC the 1098 has a reputation for a weak crankshaft. I hope that's only the transverse ones, as that's what I have in my A40 (well sitting beside it anyway).
