I can't stop looking at this, there's something about it that says "I'm all alone, please buy me"............ :?

I can't help thinking you would be if you bought it.

I would say that Calibra is potentially a new all time low in half-arsed pick up conversions, i certainly wouldnt like to have to decide which is worst out of it and the sawn-off saxo that was pimped round R-R and Ebay a few months back.

I saw that FSO a couple of years ago for sale at £900. It was lovely and excellent condition.

It looks however, like the last owner hasn't cared for it that well..... and by the look of his crappy 'can't be arsed' pictures and description my theory would be borne out.

I don't know a lot about boats....but a wooden hulled minesweeper, surely not a good idea?

Sorry to be childish.....

had new stern glands fitted
(snigger)
x2 v12 mann turbo diesels 63 litre engines

I think minesweepers were always either wooden or fibreglass, made of steel they'd certainly set off a magnetic mine

"this is the mercedes powered v6 model.!!" "Top of the range 2.4 v6 Avenger sxt"

Very rare indeed, approximately zero built. Four cylinder, I'm afraid.

Wikipedia helps out "...2.4 LGEMAI4 naturally-aspirated "World Engine", a joint venture between DaimlerChrysler, Mitsubishi and Hyundai."

"easily maintained by mercedes dealers."

I'd love to be there when you ask at the service desk.

I'm in a real pain in the arse mood tonight.

EDIT:- Len beat me to it. Great minds, natch!

Very Disco I'm terribly tempted to put an offer in for.

In other words, tell me it's A Bad Idea before Kay does...

BTW, I knew an ex-captain of one of those types of minesweepers once: he deemed them absolutely hilarious. That would make an amazing weekend plaything/fishing'n'drinking boat for someone who already had an account with BP. Apparently the fuel consumption's 'interesting' if you give it some beans.

Out of encyclopaedic interest,do Copart let you 'test drive' stuff round the yard if you're a member?

Not sure about now but when it was Universal Salvage (before that Copart lot took over) you couldn't (at least not when I had been to Chester) until you'd bought it, of course you could then refuse to take it as I had done in the past when things had been vandalised in between viewing and then winning the auction, lots of sour grapes down there.
