Is this salvageable?

$(KGrHqEOKj0E1o-ZLUlSBNms(7tfbw~~_35.JPG

1978 Merc 230 CW (CE?)

ECS are wildly optomistic with their values in my experience, so that's probably about 100 quids worth of rust and grief.

Have a look at their website, it's like a single-stop ebay bargains thread.

*edit* Looks like somebody with a bit of sense has been at the place since I last looked, ECS is now GR11 4 BARGIN CHOD. They've even got a couple of Sierras for under 200 quid: www.eastcoastsalvage.co.uk

Bloody Hell. That is quite possibly the most over priced car EVER! Even in the EBay bargains thread it'll look ridiculous.

Going by the spelling, I suspect "fuckwit". I presume that his "it won't depreciate any more", is backed up by a "buy back at any time"clause..............

That's been listed before -- you'd have thought he'd have had time to dust it off by now.

I never even knew such thing existed:

Were they officially sold here?

And what's that behind?

2-door B11 Sunnys are like rocking horse poo and this must be one of the last ones, they were only available initially I think. It would look pretty cool with some tasteful mods.

Car behind for my guess is a 41 Plymouth but I'm usually rubbish on Yankmobiles!

"Some Body Work (TLC) Required"

This old cortina has seemingly been repaired with an offcut of carpet nailed on with some old roofing tacks.. It's got a years MOT as well.

This on the other hand is tidy . It's nice to see a plain old capri as I'd forgotten they looked so good not tarted up.

Not crazy money either.
