And we are home. It was just over 14 hours on the road and we are exhausted. There was a lot of traffic since it's holiday time, but there were surprisingly many break downs among these 5-6 electric cars which I assume had run out of electricity.

Best spot was a 3 door 80s Escort with an old married couple in it, it looked like new. There were also some older Volvos like 240 etc and various older US cars to name a few.

But now this Zetor is at its new home after probably the longest trip it has had since it left Czechoslovakia for Norway in 1974.

I was also greeted by a very happy cat when i got home.

A quick calculation, it would take 40 hours of pure driving to drive that tractor home. But it wouldn't be able to do that as it has several problems, the biggest one being a bodge which means that the engine can be destroyed at any time so it must be driven as little as possible until it is fixed. Tomorrow the weather will be bad so I think on Tuesday I will look over the tractor and write a little more about it here.

And glad you liked this. Is not the most content rich collection here, but it is at least something new and different.

hvor er resten av førerhuset?

Both Zetors have what I believe is a Norwegian made roll bar/cab if you can call it that. Originally, these have a plastic roof that can be removed. This last Zetor still has this, but we took it off for transport. And these roll bar / cabs were never delivered with walls/doors/back wall/back window.

The first Zetor has lost this roof once upon a time and had it replaced with a plate.

Whats with the white door top left of the other white door on the building? I'd just have to use that coming in pissed up at night!

The top door It is the door to a storage room in the barn. Should have built a staircase for it but haven't got that far yet even though it has been several years since the door was installed.

Luckily the rain stopped so I had a look at the Zetor that we picked up yesterday. And it's not very good, we knew that this one is not in good shape and it gets worse the more you see. Firstly, the engine does not run properly and does not even run at low revs, this could possibly be clogged diesel filters. And It is very bodged, I don't think any repairs have ever been done properly on this and the wiring is a mess.

It's sad and frustrating and especially on a tractor like these. But he was able to buy it so cheap that in worst case it will only be used as parts, and this was the idea all along. So we'll see what happens next with this one.

Here is a small selection of bad repairs. The exhaust system was probably made by a blind person after he drank a pub dry.

The alternator comes from a car I think and the pulley does not fit with the belt and has worn a deep groove in the belt. And some of the wiring on the alternator has also gone wifi so I doubt it charges.

But the very worst thing is that they changed the starter and the starter they bought doesn't quite fit as a pipe from the oil filters to the engine was in the way and the solution to this was to cut the pipe and put on an old hose only held with 2 hose clamps. There is full oil pressure through this and I probably don't need to explain what happens if this hose comes off or leaks. This pisses me off and is one of the worst things I've seen anyone do to an engine.

So it's not quite good but it's a 2511 so I'm glad we managed to buy it because at worst this is valuable as a parts tractor.

I have to say the house looks very posh. A large shed just for the waste bins.

LOL. It's the first time anyone has said that. This is an old small farmhouse with an old small barn on a property consisting mostly of Bog/Mire. And the inside of the house hasn't been renovated in years. So most people here will regard this as a demolition object or, if one is not picky, as a holiday home.

The most posh thing must be the shed for the waste bins.

Edit I now realized that possible Remspoor was being ironic. I'm slow.
