Given that it doesn’t look like a heat wave, why wouldn’t you not wait in the caravan and have your food?

My guess is the inside of that caravan is even bleaker than a narrow strip of grass on a major bypass. inconsistant and Justin Case 1

martc
Either the aftermath of a blag, the TK is full of swag; early dogging adopters (pocket billiards, steamy windows and plenty of room in the back of a Cresta); or they've escaped the wives for a quick fag/pipe during our Doris's wedding. More room than you think! That's not a Cresta, it's a 59 Bel Air! Garythesnail

It was the kink in the front window frame and general roundness which made me think it was a Cresta. eddyramrod
eddyramrod
I can see how the kink would do that; and of course both are GM products, of a period. The Chevy is obviously built on a bigger scale than the Vauxhall. martc

People always say the Cresta PA was a (scaled down) copy of the Chevy but it was in fact introduced first. eddyramrod and martc
eddyramrod
What it actually was, was a scaled-down 1957 Oldsmobile with sharper fins. The Olds (also GM) would have been introduced in the autumn of 1956 and you can't tell me the various divisions weren't sharing at least hints. That 3-piece rear window is a straight lift by Vauxhall!

The Bisayne had shorter chrome down the side, the Bel-Air and Impalas had chrome that went the full length of the side. eddyramrod, Fat_Pirate and Dyslexic Viking
