JJ0063
Had it a week and absolutely love it, I think I’m going to change the main and EGR thermostats once I’ve sold the scirocco as it seems to be running cool and it’s a really common problem. This should improve MPG too! Also got the scirocco back so it’s now got a full MOT, new cambelt, water pump, aux belt and cam sensor. Noticed today it’s got 315/35/20s on it.. dread to think of the cost when these need replacing 😂 Coprolalia, goosey, AnnoyingPentium and 1 other

Dobloseven
Think they used to be fun with them in the automatic car washes with the wheels being too wide for the moving tracks that pull you through the brushes. JJ0063

JJ0063
Fitted some black grills today but now they’re on I think I prefer the chrome so might revert back. Dave_Q
They're not the worst aftermarket grills I've ever seen but 99.5% of aftermarket efforts look gash so that's not saying much JJ0063

JJ0063
I changed the main and EGR thermostats today as the M57 is prone to them sticking open and then running very cool It was struggling to get past mid 60’sC so replaced them both and it now sits at the perfect temp and my MPG went from an average of 22.4 to 29.1 in the space of 8 miles! JJ0063
Dog hair proofed the boot tonight, had one of these in the 5 series, they’re expensive at £53 but worth it in the long run. ‘UK Custom Covers’ proper full tailored boot liner privatewire, BorniteIdentity, Dyslexic Viking and 1 other

Wouldn't have said anything if you'd liked the black ones, but a black car needs a few flashes to break it up I reckon. The reason I put the black grills on my e46 is the roof gutterings and window trims were all black as standard (se spec was chrome) but then it had standard chrome grills which just looked daft when all the rest of the metal work was black. Tbf estoril is such a vivid colour that you could get away with no extra bling! JJ0063
JJ0063
Still loving this even though getting 95 miles to £30 makes me feel sick. Have just had to order a new battery for it as it’s still got the original BMW one and if I sit with the ignition on but engine off for more than a minute or so I get a low battery warning. My diagnostic app has a specific BMW Battery health part which does a 24hr monitoring period, it came back saying the battery is charging fine but has a self discharge rate of 9.1% a day so it’s basically just old and knackered. JJ0063
Finally got my plate on but now I look at the pic and it makes me think the black grill would now look better 😂 might give them another try. Jazoli
Rear plate looks too small to me and would probably look better full-sized, in my opinion, don't put the black grilles back on 😉 Crackers, Pat Earrings, Low Horatio gearbox and 3 others

JJ0063
Got all my work hours in early this week so had time to wash it today BMW paint always seems to clean up well. Plates look better now it’s all clean IMO but I may eventually get a set of full width ones. Probably not in all honesty as I’ll likely sell the car in 6 months when I get sick of the MPG 😂 Matty and Coprolalia
JJ0063
£30 in, 85 miles later ping the fuel light is on £70 in and I’ve got half a tank This is getting slightly monotonous already 😂 I may have to reevaluate things sooner rather than later. Absolutely love this thing but it’s going to bankrupt me. this has also caught my eye and will be a more sensible 35+mpg Why do I do it to myself ffs
