Its a CRX Del Sol SiR as mentioned above. Trans top electic folding roof, b16 Honda 1.6 VTEC engine, quite a clever thing in its day and quite a pokey motor for the capacity. Jenson Velcro
Thanks. Interestingly different. Looks like it could have been Honda’s version of an MR2 but is in fact front wheel drive..

The CRX del sol had a UK release, but I don't know if the SiR ever made it here. The 1.6 engine is reputed to be 168bhp in these 😳 sutty2006 and Out Run

I've driven a few and you do need to wind them up and keep them wound for them to feel "fast" but on the right road they're good fun. DaveDorson
Situation report. The floors, the firewall and the bottom of the sills are really good. However the bodykit has caused this sills are available for less than £200 a pair.. The rear quarters are made of metal and not too rusty, which is apparently a good thing on these. The area under the windscreen and where it meets the firewall is a bit grim. The tops of the screen pillars also want to get rebuilt. And the area around the aerial mount is also a bit grim The engine.. clean oil, clean plugs and good compression. Its has some silicon hoses added and some fancy ignition leads. The brake calipers on the rear need a rebuild, so they will likely get replaced, and there are some new discs and pads for each corner in the car. Tyres are old, but have good tread and good aren't cracked.. It'll get new ones. It shows signs of an honest car that was loved by the previous owner but it's gone beyond their skill level so it's now mine. junkyarddog and Joey spud
