Armed with such science as MoT is worth x per day and (this much tax in the old days) plus scrap value equals vehicle value we managed to value and buy the odd sensibly priced old knacker. So adjusted for inflation what do you think old shite is worth these days? I’ll apply the logic to the last thing I bought. 2cv project. £1500 Full mot? £1 a day?
