General shape and lines of the doors (both the top of the door, bottom of the windows), and the flat rectangular rear lights.

I can't be arsed posting a pic, but that Megane looks very, very like the current Merc GLA (or whatever the jumped up A class thing is called....)

Can well believe it as the A Class is built on the Megane platform apparently.

Rover bought a couple of 1947 Studebakers to help in the process of developing the P4. One was left whole and the other had the body taken off and fitted to a P4 prototype chassis, the resulting combination being known at the factory as the Roverbaker. After the P4 was released the hybrid was used as a factory hack, then after a few years the Studebaker body was reinstated on its proper chassis and that car sold second hand.
