Cookiesouwest
Just back from the fleabay collection point. The model I missed from my initial research. 35804 - Series 1 Dennis Dart SLF / Plaxton Pointer in Badgerline livery. One of the later EFE efforts with mirrors. I think a pretty good level of detail achieved, for the price point they were sold at. Bristol VR, BH5531 and plated as EWS739W. Route 332 to Bristol. Bristol RE, WS1182 and plated YHU502J. Route 126 to Weston. Plaxton bodied Mercedes, 3904 and plated L904VHT. Route 2 to Ensleigh. Another Plaxton Merc, this one wearing Eastern National/ Badgerline colours so not from Somerset/ Avon? - 601, plated as H601OVW, Route 21 to Deanery Gardens. And I've also this Crosville Leyland National longbody, which probably isn't anything to do with your current endeavours but is the only other loose EFE I have. They were bought cheap from a market stall in Belfast last year, and as you can see there are various chips to the paintwork here and there. The Eastern National Merc also seems to be missing the inner portion of a front wheel, oddly, so the tyre doesn't seat properly - though a bead of glue would likely hold it in place. At any rate, if they interest you they're available at £2 each, or all five posted to you for a tenner! mercedade and sierraman

Cookiesouwest
Todays new arrival is 26207 - Guy Arab Utility Bus in Bristol Tramways livery. Why Bristol Tramways were allocated a Guy during the war is beyond me, given Bristol were also making the utility bus. Sure they had a reason. Govt. Allocation probably. Cookiesouwest
Latest delivery EFE 29806 - Dennis Lance SLF / Wright body in Badgerline livery. I like this one, but then I prefer the moderns - well modern when I was younger. They are actually old now and some might have even made it into preservation. Cookiesouwest
A delivery arrived from @Datsuncogtoday. 4 loose and a boxed CMNL model. The minibus and Bristol RE are on my wanted list, but as these are loose I will aquire ones with boxes for my challenge. So these are extras. Well happy I've never had a CMNL model before and I now appreciate why they cost so much new. A qood quality model. Datsuncog
Cookiesouwest
Another day and a triple delivery. These two, I already had from @Datsuncog. But I'm OCD and wanted boxed versions and managed to get them from a fellow collector for a good price. 24803 - MB 709 / Reeve Burgess 25201 - Bristol RELL / ECW He also offered me this, for a very good price. Already have it, but it was very cheap, quite difficult to obtain, plus I like the model. 29806 - Wright SLF Dennis Lance Next up, a model I didn't have. A late EFE. 29010 - GM Standard Fleetline. Two not on my EFE list, but next years Corgi list. Although I now only need one more for the complete set lol 44107 - Optare Solo in Dyrham Park, shuttle bus livery. Then, this magnificent beast. Had to dig deep for this one, but worth it. OM41308 Wright Solar Fusion bendy bus. Its bloody huge. I will update the scores on doors later, as I have one more to collect later tonight. Cookiesouwest
No EFE have joined the fleet so far this month, but two Corgi have just arrived. They were both cheap on ebay and I can't resist cheap. The first I want anyway. Corgi 43103 - Mk1 Leyland Lynx in Bristol Cityline livery. I always liked these and I've been on this one, many moons ago when it was in service. The second is also a Mk1 lynx, in Crosville Cymru livery. Why? Well it was cheap and I like the livery. Cookiesouwest
A new arrival for my Birthday on Monday, courtesy of Mrs CSW. A Northcord model, Alexander Dennis E400 MMC, in First Bristol livery. Route 1 Broomhill. Same route as the Lynx that joined the fleet earlier in the month. Very detailed. Now my second favourite of my collection. Parked up next to the Lynx in earlier Cityline livery on same route. No more EFE yet this month. warch
I lived in Brizzle for several years when I met Mrs W, we had a flat then a house in Horfield absolutely love the place. This is an awesome looking collection of buses for a bus centric city. Need a load of little 3d printed electric scooters to keep them company. Cookiesouwest
Another arrival. Yet again, one not on the EFE list. Its a CMNL model. UKBus 4010. Volvo Olympian with Alexander Royal body. Operated by South Gloucester Coach Company on a contract for University West of England. So not from an operator I'm collecting either! But is local to Bristol and I use to see these everyday driving to work, as I work very close to UWE. Its never been out of its case, so I've left it in. Hence even worse pics than usual. Split_Pin
Excellent collection so far. I find buses very rewarding to collect due to the chance of finding one in a local livery. The good thing is that I'm also not tempted to try and buy a 1/1 scale version, unlike a more attainable car! Cookiesouwest

Cookiesouwest
Oops. After some more Internet sleuthing to try and find the last couple of models, I've found out that EFE did two busses in Cheltenham & District livery. Because I'm a numpty, I had forgotten that it was a subsidiary of Bristol Omnibus Company, so should have been on my list. So now its 45 models not 43. Cookiesouwest
Back from a long weekend and the postie had delivered this. Identical to the previous model. Just with a different destination. Its how model bus companies exploit cater to collectors. Not one of my favourites tbh. A begging message on various model bus forums / groups has led me to a collector with 2 of the 3 really rare models left on my list. Hoping a deal can be done. Also got lucky with the third rare one, as it popped up on ebay Scores on doors 39 of 41 EFE code 1s 1 of 2 EFE LT museum code 2s 0 of 1 EFE code 2 2 of 2 EFE (LBRT) code 3s 4 left.
