Seeing as the saloon thread is in danger of becoming a bit too far off topic, I decided to make this one.

Anyway heres that W&P Metro Laser. Tasteful. I kind of like it though.......

You can post any mad shite car in here which was modified by a company which specialised in Bespoke cars, all shapes. Keep it shite though folks!

Spent ages looking at that 405, thinking "So what's special about that? 4 wheels... no gaudy paint.... no crazy graphics denoting an engine conversaion.... no robotic clowns head mounted on the roof"Then I realised. How tidy is that? What's the story - factory or homebrew? Looks like it should have been.

Brammy, that's an ace selection right there. I'd be happy with any of them, especially the Fuego ragtop.

IIRC, the pug was a factory prototype, I think they built two of them. Really lovely looking things eh?

I think Sbarro was mentioned on the other thread, pretty much everything he did was horrendous in some way, but not really shite. here's the boarderline-shite porker powered Golf:

The underbonnet view was impressive. Now that the factory 1,781cc engine was in production, this early 1983 prototype was able to use the new block and coupled this to Oettinger 16-valve heads. This 1800E/16 engine gave 141bhp at 6,100rpm and 125lb/ft of torque at 5,500rpm. The fuel system was a modified Bosch K-Jetronic and the compression ratio was 10.2:1.

x2 = 282 BHP and 4 Wheel drive and fun moments..

more info here :) - http://www.driversfound.com/scirocco/history/bimotor/

alhough not the same car but very same idea

Have to wonder why the Elford 626 Turbo exists, you could get a 626 Turbo in Japan! Just import some of them instead.

I guess at the time the import quotas meant that Jap manufacturers were reluctant to import anything into the uk that wouldn't sell quickly, hence us getting the mainstream models, and none of the odd spec stuff.

The burgundy 928 was made by ASC around the end of the 80ies, but information about it is conflicting. There is one more, with a slightly different tail end, in the factory's new museum. The latter is amethyst metallic, and was shown at the Automuseum Langenburg for many years.

You'd have to brake pretty hard now for the speed camera just after!
I would have thought the gentle curves at the eastern end would have made this either impossible or horrifically frightening.

Nearly and extremely, in that order.
