No its a Bentley

I always thought it looked a bit Bentley like. Ironically, it holds its value better than the E class too, even though Chrysler pulled out of the UK market some years ago.

Talking of Bentley, of course, most of the parts are shared with the Volkswagen Phaeton (and the engine with the Touareg W12).

We've mentioned the Rover 75? I remember taking mine apart to fit some aftermarket parts and being amazed how much of it was BMW badged.

Actually, this bus model followed part of the BMW 3 series life cycle:

The OG had E36 headlights and Punto taillights

Then it got the first restyling into the 2000's, that gave it pre-LCI E46 headlights

Then the one in the post, and then they got rid of the BMW headlights for standard off the shelf round headlights

OT, but when did those rabbit ear mirrors first come into use on coaches?

My mind wants to say it was the early '90s when the Setra S3xxHD series came out but i'm not really sure, could have been earlier

One I've read about, but not 100% if true...is the MG6's boot lamp used AR group lens, complete with the logos.

Anyone able to confirm this?

I’m of the understanding that something in the recent MG lineup was still using the electric mirror switch from the Montego.

iirc scooberoos use p12 heated seat switches

i heard mumbling some years ago that the early metrocab used alpine/solara headlights rather than fraud items making them rather like rocking horse poo when fixerating ones cab

Hmmm.🤔 Not sure; unless the guts of the switch are shared... 🤓

And even those, I'm fairly sure the guts are still coming from the 1999 Volvo S80

(Edit: this switch is from a 2007, not a 1999.

The 99 is below and still looks remarkably similar)
