Monte-no-go - Austin Montego

Breadvan - VW Polo mk1/2 hatchback

Talking of bikes -

Hardley Dangerous

Moto Gutsy

Duke

Trumpet

UJM (Universal Japanese Machine - any across the frame four cylinder Japanese bike), see also Rice Burner

Bavarian Bus (any over bloated, over specced, over priced, over rated BMW (ie all of them)) - for bikes, but applies to the cars as well...

Flying Brick (K series BMW - see above)

Also I knew someone with their own slang -

Ford Cortina = congertina

Ford Escort = ezz-uck

Those steps combined with a tow hook  on the back of, here's another one, Trannies = pog bars (bordering on the political incorrect nowadays)

Joey - Rover P6

Do you know how the P6 got it’s nickname? It’s not very politically correct but it involves that Joey Deacon fella that was a regular on Blue Peter and weak front suspension.

I find it incredible that anyone remembers that PIF.

As an aside, it is Mrs Blunder who comes up with the greatest meal suggestion of all time. I mean, who wouldn't look forward to coming home to a steaming plate of spaghetti and Brussels sprouts. No wonder they all drove like they wanted to die.

For those who care.

I implore you to watch to the end. The look on the face of the poor sod actor driving the Cortina says that this was Take 7. He really isn't looking forward to it.
