From what he gathered, you would run your car on E100 if you had no other choice available, mainly due to the risk of pure ethanol corroding and dissolving bits of the fuel system and its inefficiency compared to E10. My brothers brother was in Brasil mainly up north by a river, and we used the Alcool pump for all our vehicles.
