Did notice when moving it in the yard today that the brake pedal was very hard so I’m putting money on a vac leak but fuck me dead these 1.8t motors have hundreds of vac pipes . I’m wondering if it’s one of the many one way valves or solenoid valves on the inlet system that’s failed rather than a leak to external air . phil_lihp Posted September 10, 2021 Share Posted September 10, 2021 The window regulator is for the driver's front because I'd already replaced the driver's rear and the front was making funny noises so I thought I'd be prepared, they're not expensive. Spurious Posted September 11, 2021 Share Posted September 11, 2021 Isn't it quite common for people to be fiddling with the Positive Crankcase Ventilation system on these thinking it'll somehow improve performance?
