Schaefft
Finding a petrol V6 indeed is a rare occasions, I'd love to have one myself but prices have gone completely mental.
jamescarruthers
C6 magically passed its MOT but has suffered suspension fluid leak and collapsed on me on the drive home. It is either the reservoir or the front R/H strut as the car is covered in oil down the driver’s side. Nursed it home on the bump stops, terrified that the struts would come through the bonnet! No time to look at it but hope to make progress either tomorrow or next week when things get a bit calmer in life. Peter C
DSdriver
Welcome to the world of buying LHM in 5 litre jugs The DS used to scare people when it was new, and then the injection system put off another generation. In a few years time we will all be looking at C6s as very simple cars to repair.

jamescarruthers
Yes, LDS on order. Drivers side of the car is a big oil slick so I suspect reservoir, R/H strut or power steering— or pipes to them. At least I got home! It was a very bouncy experience. jamescarruthers
It seems that the massive leak is down to the feed pipe to the driver’s side corner sphere holder— whatever that is called. Weirdly the union just wasn’t tight. I’ve nipped it up and have either cured it or ran out of hydraulic fluid. 4L on order for collection tomorrow morning. I hope I’ve been lucky!
