Someone considered this adequately installed. It's the torque reaction tube that prevents the chassis from twisting under the load from the suspension.

It was done up loosely with two of the ten bolts required.

Took it out, it was bent so was beaten back into shape with hammers.

It's back in but I need to get the other 8 bolts. Hopefully I can put the weight of the car down onto it and force the torque arms up, and back into line so I can put the bolts back in.

Someone considered that safe to drive on. Think about that for a minute.

Cleaned the chrome up a touch.

That's sitting like it should, now. Looks like any Fitzpatrick illustration, and that makes me happy.

So, so, so much more to do but five minutes here and there are knocking small items off the list.

I have purchased a couple replacement trim pieces for where the rear of the roof meets the body. Those should be here by the end of the week hopefully.

Not much Plymouth news.

Accumulated a box of trim. Came up available for significantly less than anything on eBay so it was snaffled up.

Just need the side straight pieces (hard to find) and the bit that goes along the leading edge of the bonnet.

Trouble is, it appears in general people would park these cars using the French Method. Crunch, that's far enough

Re-kindling some progress on this car.

Looking at photos for inspiration, found a couple. I do like the green- green and black look good. However, the dark red is being agreed upon as a good alternative to the purple. I cannot get a cheap purple paint that's dark enough.

The wheels and stance of this green one.

With a dark maroon on the outside. Black interior.
