My Spotlight Collection. Show me your spotlights.

Hi all, 

Have started to gather a bit of a collection of spotlights without even trying. I tend to always buy interesting one if they pop up cheap locally. I none of these cost more than £10. I'm pretty sure the Marchal's which are my favourite were about £2 and they have cool fibreglass covers, with the cat emblem on but they are cracked and not designed for the lights I have.

Would love to see what other people have got. I think I might have to actively try and find a pair of square Hellas now with covers.

Those Marchals are a bit of a score at that price and they're a really stylish thing, as Marchals tend to be.  I don't have a collection, as such, just a pair of scruffy old Marchals from eBay that match the overall condition of the Lanchester nicely.  Would like to find a replacement lens for that cracked one, but it's not the end of the world if I never do.  They only cost me something like £18 last year and at that price I'm happy for them to just sit there looking nice really.

Very nice. Suit the look perfectly. I think Marchal's are the ones going up in price the most as well so you did well to score a pair for s good price.

I’ve got these, nothing special. Plastic bodied but in all honestly they possibly saved our bacon last year. They make a huge difference and I’m really pleased I had the foresight to fit them!

I wouldn’t mind but I’ve just got the car advisory free and the way I like it and have to let it go now and don’t think if ever used the spots since fitting them.

I did get offered the other week 4 original 1970s cibie oscars in lovely condition with original covers  from a neighbour of mine as he was going to throw them out and said I could have them.

 I didn’t want to take advantage as the things are worth a fortune so showed him what the going rate was on eBay so I imagine some Mk1 Escort will be wearing them soon.

The round suits it well and I love the look with the covers on.

Yeah some are going for silly money. Yours look nice on the mini. Colour colour car as well.
