2cv in the snow

Scooters' post about driving his Moggy in the snow got me wondering what a 2CV would be like, as they have equally skinny tyres. So I went on Youtube and found this lovingly shot piece of Japanese film about driving a 2cv in the snow:

Watch out for GR8 FWD DRIFTIN at 4:58

Also check out this Italian vid with a 2CV and a Uno being chucked about in deep snow!

2CVs are bloody excellent in the snow. Wish someone had been videoing my antics last night!

EDIT - have a video of my mate giving it some snow hoon. His is peculiar though - it has iron sills and rides a bit high, which may go some way to explaining how he can get such crazy lift-off oversteer! (who needs a handbrake?)

Sorry about the Panda/Uno mixup - I did wonder but really needed to get on with some work rather than perving at Fiats on google!!Mark.

+1.Though the one in the second vid was armed with snow chains... almost anything will chomp its way along with chains on.My Panda 4x4 was also ace in the snow.underpowered + lightweight + good ground clearance + 145 R 13s + agricultural Steyr-Puch drivetrain = WIN!

Mines got the engine out at the moment so not going to have a chance to try it, but have heard that cars with narrow tyres do well in snow.Would like to have a go in the Panda 4x4, wonder if the new Panda 4x4 is any good.
