RedSparrow
Hi,Went to Budapest this month, was pleased to see a fair amount of Eastern bloc rubbish smoking around.Lots of late (VW engined) Trabis and Wartburgs- they seemed to outnumber Ladas and certainly Skodas.Apologies for poor picture quality- if there was a forum called PhotoShite I would go on there and talk about my cheap Korean digital camera.Enjoy! Old style Lada: Late Wartburg: Trabant Kombis: Old and new(er): Wartburg Pickup, just cos Id never seen one in the flesh before!: Polski-Renault?, Im sure one of you knows!: Also saw lots of Polski-Fiat 127s, IFA W50s, mega late Trabi with VW Golf wheels and an IFA 'Camp Tourist' Caravan! Dukestar25
Romania, I think.sure Yeah, they imported them for about a year. I remember distinctly what Jalopy magazine said about them:...a long defunct version of an even longer defunct Renault 12. Be the envy of your friends by owning a car thats rarer than a Ferrari... Adrian_pt
That's a Dacia 1310 estate, and this particular style (4 headlamps, thick rubber round them) dates from 83 to 92 - I have some very sad knowledge of Dacias, so will hazard 1986 or possibly 87 as the year...They're pretty rare over in England. I know of only 4 existing...
