It's late and I can't be bothered to go to bed , too late to start watching anything meaningful so I started cruising YouTube

I honestly can't believe how many cunts in this video uploaded footage thinking they were in the right after driving into someone who made a mistake , there's loads of them , WTF is going on , is it drive into them if it looks like it's their fault

I really hope a lot of insurance companies went 50/50 at least on a lot of these

Christ, not sure I want to get behind the wheel now! Several there could have been avoided by simply lifting off the gas. Obviously a good number of people need re-educating about observation and use of the middle pedal.

I don't get why it is such a hard concept to some. Press it to slow or stop. Do not press going round every bloody bend at 15mph though.

I was following a woman in a Q5 last week , 40 in a 60 , brake for every slight curve , something coming every safe overtaking spot then we hit a 30mph village and she didn't slow down , must drive at 40 everywhere

Sounds like most of the folk along the Cairnryan road too, 35 everywhere until they get into Cairnryan, Girvan, or other places and the pedal gets mashed into the shagpile.

All that bumpyness is rust that's crept underneath the undercoating I did, so it's either rusted from the inside out or I didn't do a good enough job.

I'll deploy the hammers and see if any new holes have appeared but I suspect I'm going to end up chasing my tail with this. They weren't made very well to begin with.

At least a repair sections are cheap. I don't much fancy taking apart the front end.

What a shame it would be if you had  a positive lateral flow on Monday, you know, the type you just report to work, don't have to prove with a PCR and can't go to work for 5 days due to type of thing.......would be a shame

Had my dash cam for two years, never recorded anything that is worth saving.

Its illegal here to publish anything taken by dash cam, footage is for police and insurance purposes only. I rarely see a car here with one fitted.

If I were an insurerer, I'd be noting the registration number of the arseholes that have it shown at the bottom of the clips. So many of those "wronged" by others simply cannot drive.

Not even got it off the road , this is how many young people see life , a bit of a joke and a chance to post something on social media

I think it's points and a fine for causing an obstruction , hopefully there'll be a copper waiting for them

This morning I had to eject two scrap metal enthusiasts from our yard, one was in the metal skip!

To my surprise they went quietly.

Mind you, they have probably cut their way through the fence and taken what they wanted by now anyway.

I bought (yet) another wheel bearing kit for the 121 this week.  It turned up and, wonder of wonders, contained a RH threaded hub nut.  Except that said hub nut appears to be made of fugging titanium reinforced with diamonds and has so far resisted all of my attempts to stake it in - even my biggest screwdriver and a lump hammer did little more than nick the surface.

So I've put the original nut back on for the umpteenth time, and managed to find a tiny bit of lip to knock in so it won't undo immediately - I still wouldn't trust it on a long run though.  I can see the welder coming out at this rate.

I knew it was risky - within hours of posting that, this happened:

Spain the situation is not 100% clear.

This say you can use them. But you cannot operate them and they must be positioned so it does not obscure vision.

https://www.legalitas.com/actualidad/que-es-una-dashcam-legal

This one goes through all of the EU countries. https://techauto.es/dashcams-legalidad/ It points out that you can use one as long as you observe the privacy laws. It also says there are no restriction on usage here.

This one is certain that the issue is not clear. Strangely it supports the fact that dashcams are not to be used by writing  about a driver who had a home scrutiny cam in the rear of his car who was fined. But a CCTV is different to  a dash cam.

https://cincodias.elpais.com/cincodias/2020/11/12/motor/1605176559_447989.html

I have one in my car. no photos or videos of any scrutiny services are allowed in Spain.

A video from Carwow.es

I have wondered ,if they are illegal in Spain, then do they disable them on  Teslas?
