Sigh...

I think I'm loosing my sanity slowly and the will to live. I can feel it bringing me down. Bringing my wife over has once again hit the buffers and financially thing are getting tight. I've £20 to last me for the week and I haven't even paid half of my bills. Not that bothered about that, I want my wife over here and if I can't do it, I'll have to force the issue which'll plunge me into some serious debt...

Just about to go to that London to stand in a muddy field with a load of smug middle class twats to have the likes of James Blunt, Shania Twain and fucking Take That assault my ears . The only good bits will be Blondie and Stereophonics .

We're giving some of Mrs N's friends a lift and I'm not allowed to make them take their shoes off on the way back apparently, however muddy they are, so covering the floor with newspaper.

On the plus side, I bumped into Jeremy Vine at one of these Hyde Park things once , hopefully will today and I can chin the fucker - cheering up already.

As there is no "I'm as pissed off as a really pissed off person" thread, I'll have to just be really grumpy.

Seven weeks ago I picked up my refurbed back axle. Grin, coz mine is totally fooked. Ordered new springs that should've taken 2 weeks, took 5. Grump.

Round to the spanner man who has 2 mechanics and an Mot bloke. He's a top bloke but unfortunately, for me, very busy. Eg. have to book Mots at LEAST a week in advance and there is always shit loads going on in the repair side.

Upshot, " Bring it round Friday late afternoon". Got there and it's " Sorry it will have to be next Friday". Minor grump. Last Friday back round. Left the keys to the sound of "Come round tomorrow late afternoon". Saturday went round and it hadn't moved. "Sorry, didn't have time, it will have to be next week". Oh Ffs!! Major grump.

Now I am sure there will be those who will say, get it done somewhere else. In theory, yes, but in practice not so easy.

Why ? With 305 vans and estates you need a special spring compressor for the rear springs.( bloody French) and he is the only bloke I know who has one, and I've asked everywhere.

Grumpety grump grump.

There used to be a Peugeot specialist in Walsall near to the hospital. Ten years ago they were running a 305 van that they had owned for years. If they still exist then they would be worth trying.

There's a Pug place in Lye as well, I think, which would be O.k. but I'm going for a green lane look with a 2 inch lift all round and the spacers have already been made by my spanner bloke. So, I could maybe get the axle put in, and then take it to my man to do the lift. Which sounds like more folding.  Have to bite the proverbial bullet I suppose.

Shower riser fell off the wall in my flat this morning. Fastener has rusted out and been bodged with adhesive in the past

£750pcm rental property in one of the nicer parts of town and the management agent is just letting it go to ruin (there's other small bits and pieces wrong too through lack of care/maintenance). Sad really.

NB - I know that it's probably been bodged by a previous tenant and/or the landlord doesn't want to spend anything on it but it staggers me that someone would let their £180,000 asset get so rough around the edges for the sake of some light maintenance.

Very cheap beer at B&M earlier. Looked OK got a bottle. 2.7% and if fucking mings :-)

Might as well have bought some pop.

Always be wary of VERY cheap food and drink at B&M - it's either shite they couldn't sell wherever its come from or out of date!

Have had the odd bargain though - Carling Premier being a highlight because you can hardly get it anywhere

Home Bargains can be pretty good, although I'm talking actual beer here as opposed to lager. Recently they had a few Sadler's brews in, most notably Mud CIty Stout @ £1.25/bottle -recommended.

Had one or two close calls with anglers on the Shroppy when riding my bike. Some of them make eye contact then start taking their rod out of the water before blocking the path with it.

One day if it happens again I'm just going to boot all their stuff into the canal, probably closely followed by themselves.

Might be worth getting the landlords details from the land registry and dropping them a line telling them.

Management agents are probably charging them an arm and a leg for maintenance..
