Rocket88
Well...this is a weird old Hector indeed. The Fiat Croma, the bastard love child of a Vauxhall Sigma and a Chrysler Grand Voyager, after a shag up an ally..............I've driven a few Fiats over the years, and this is the least Fiat like Fiat I've ever chanced upon. Purchased from the excellent Mr Bollox of this very parish this week, it wafted me from Derbyshire to Kent with an air of dependable solidity . Everything works, even sussed out the recalcitrant remote central locking [put key to forehead, then press button, it does work!] It is not sprightly, full of brio, zingy, or any of the other adjectives usually applied to Italian cars. It is comfortable [albeit with a slightly odd driving position] quiet, and rides very smoothly. It does not "handle" at all, but I don't give a stuff about that. It does have one weird bit of Italian-ness....ignition barrel in the same place as you'd expect to find in a Saab, why ? Asimo
You havn't mentioned rust, so it is as you say, not a Fiat in the true sense of the brand. And from the side it looks much like an '02 Civic. Jim Bell
