I thought if it was extended to November you'd get a normal 12 month MOT afterwards. So you effectively save £25 in the long run.

I was eligible for the extension but took it in to the garage anyway for its original due date. Dropped the keys off through the letterbox, paid over the phone, and they left the keys and paperwork on the dash for me to collect. Problem free.
