My 1:18 Ottomobile Group B collection

Anyone wanna see these? I’m not much of a model collector, but I love Otto products and I love Group B. So here we are.

I don’t have many, but I guess I am amassing what you would call a collection.

The Delta S4 arrived today. It is part of a set with a team van and trailer, but I will be selling those. It’s all about the crazy, bespoke cars for me.
I also think that the utter failure that is the BX 4TC is pretty Autoshite.

The Audi appears to have acquired a broken wiper!

Does anyone else collect these? My mate has loads. Whatever takes his fancy. I’ll not collect anything other than Group B, though.

Started buying them when they first came out, so cheap back then didn't think twice about changing wheels and messing about with mods. Glad I kept the original parts with now the price of them has gone.

Most are away in the loft but have a few dusty examples in cabinets. ? Darn house reservations, dust gets everywhere.

Fantastic, mate! The Espace F1 really stands out for me.  So crazy.

You have the quite the collection. Know what you mean about the prices, these days.

Still disappointed I missed the crazy BX stuff.

Used to buy and sell a lot even got stuff imported from Oz.

Once the house is finished I want to sort a display out.

Yes, I agree, thats what I started it for way back in 2012.

I'm not really a fan of 'new' models of old cars as I prefer to have one that was released at the same time as the real car.

However I'll make an exception for that 740, really nice. Otto also do an Audi 80 Cabriolet in the same Santorini blue as mine but the interior colour is different.

Here's my OTTO. Just a standard 325 face lift model. A very nice model in itself.

However my head has been turned by a minichamp 1:18. This is a pre face lift and I have never seen a model of one. This almost matches my own in terms of chrome and colour.

You may not think of the chromies as autoshite but in the E30 world the chromies are not loved and the 323i is least loved.

Added a couple more.

An R5 Maxi Turbo and a 205 T16.

The Renner isn't in the Philips livery as I would prefer. But IMO this one has better looking wheels.

The 205 isn't the Evo model, but they only do that in 1:12, for some annoying reason and the 1000 Lakes works liveried car that they do still looks like this one, but costs a lot more.

Why don't they make a Lancia 037?! I may end up with one and an Evo T16 from IX Models or whatever they are called.

Hey ho.

I plan to display these better. I just need to cut a hole in a wall, to do so.
