Daewoo Brochure

The most recent brochure I have is a Daewoo one from about a year after they started to sell cars in the UK.

As I'm currently furloughed I thought I should use the time to upload some scans at a faster rate than I've been doing so far.

I think I had the same Daewoo brochure. Not a patch on those comprehensive Ford brochures of the time.

I thought that the Espero was a damn nice looking car imo. At the time I never realised that it was GM J car underneath.

Also, the front and rear doors on the Espero remind me of the ones of a Citroen Xantia.

Apparently the Espero was based on a design study Citroen made for the Xantia, which was rejected but sold on to Daewoo.

I remember it being mentioned a lot at the time that Daewoos were reworked GM designs, with the Nexia being a tweaked Mk2 Astra.
