I got that book when I was, I think, eight, and there are some fantastic lines in it, including that the Bertone Stratos "looks like a refugee from a futuristic film".

Also, that Isdera dashboard is one of my favourites of ever.

Finally found the one I'd lost track of earlier.

There is just something slightly surreal about piloting a car the size of a small country while looking out over the top of a Skoda Estelle steering wheel (and switchgear, gear lever gaiter, pedals to name stuff I immediately recognised).

The noise is something I'll never forget and alone will always keep a T-613 on the wish list.
