Tickman Posted March 21, 2020 Share Posted March 21, 2020 Currently fucking about attempting to do the timing belt on an F reg Peugeot 205 belonging to @stereotype basically had a bit of a mare so need to find tdc on cylinder 1. twosmoke300 Posted March 21, 2020 Share Posted March 21, 2020 At the front of the engine on the flywheel end . 8mm hole . Be aware that this will be no1 and 4 tdc not no1 tdc firing . Tickman Posted March 22, 2020 Author Share Posted March 22, 2020 Thanks to @ruffgeezer I found the hole, made up a little locking pin and reassembled. I've just done the first fire after winding the engine over a couple of time and checking the pins went back in. Now to put the covers and stuff back together and fill with water for a flush!
