Do takeaways even deliver to the middle of nowhere where you live?

They would but I've always collected as I don't enjoy directing people who are lost, have bugger all reception on their phone and our food going cold! It doesn't matter how many times you tell people don't follow the post code, here's the instructions and a link on a map they almost invariably either follow the post code or can't follow directions 🤦

Thats brilliant, such a neat design those Punto's

I thought they were horrible when they came out, like pretty much any clean sheet car that's pushing any kind of design boundary.

I still don't like the mk1 focus but these are improving with age, to my eyes!

Worth checking the rear inner wheel archs for rot from inside the boot , i Have seen some of these completely rotted out there.

It's recently had the welding done around the back, so hopefully no surprises there, not for a while anyway

Nice little addition to the fleet there.  They were always cheerful little things to drive, probably one of the last what I'd call "real Fiats."

I remember thinking that they looked like something from 30 years in the future when they were released.  The design has really aged well.

For me though if I had one it would absolutely have to be bright yellow.

My first fiat was a 55sx punto 3 door in white. I think it was P reg. It was a lovely wee car. Far better than the 52 plate 1.2ELX that came after it, which in turn was better than the 56 plate grande punto 1.4 active sport that came later again. I would have a mk1 55 or 60 SX again but wouldn't want any newer punto.

Agree with the points above; my 55SX was great fun but needed higher geared steering and was moved on when it failed the MOT due to rampant rot in the rear arches (well hidden until prodded!),  New owner has seemingly got it back on the road and moved it on again (whether by proper repair or more lashings of underseal I'll never know).

I got my father in law a punto a few years back for £70

Was one of the last mk1s and was the selecta model.

Cracking fun with that gearbox but was eventually scrapped due to inner sill rot and no desire to fix it anymore.

Was replaced by a 56 plate grande punto which is utter crap in comparison.

Now sitting on my drive unused for the past year...

I quite fancy an early one to buzz around in, especially in a bright colour like that!

Did a bit of a paint experiment on the Metro, using a Montana Graffiti paint, apparently some decent results can be achieved with it. Here's a Mazda 121 a friend did recently.

Brings a whole new meaning to 'wrapping' a car - using leftover wrapping paper from Xmas to mask up.

Jesus Christ that's a bright red.

I guess at least its all red now. I reckon I could do the whole car for less than 80 quid. We'll see how the paint turns out once I flat and polish it.

Interestingly that's very similar to the colour match I've got when ordering paint by code for my Panda. That's when you find out what colour that red used to be when it was new😦 Clear coated too so it won't even polish back.
