100% agree mate. While my own tastes in shite has changed over the years, I’ve always been slightly outside of the vanilla choices.

My daily at the minute is a one series and I can’t begin to tell you how much I hate it but it was only €400 and just needed an alternator so it’s fine as a daily shitter but I can’t wait to start using something closer to my shite tastes.

Carry on!

Here's my attitude to modifications.in order of importance.

Does it add reliability and economy?

Does it add better handling and better brakes.

Does it add to the comfort.

Does it make the car faster, or quicker accelerating.

Does it look better (subjective)

Buy what you want..

I took a gamble and bought my dream barge at 17, life is too short and the men in my family seldom get past 40 so i wanted something to enjoy early on..

It has cost me everything, but I still love it... ;) :)

Can't wait to see what you pick up.. :)

The 929 is my fave, is it still about, saw one the other day on the 127?

No, afraid mine was scrapped by the person who bought it off me. It had a tap from the top end when I sold it, shouldn't have been difficult to sort. ?

Funnily enough, very few of my cars have met their end by my hand, most have gone on to live happy lives or have ended up in the hands of idiots who destroy them.

The Chevrolet Celebrity ended up being banger raced, but that was a hateful heap anyway.

Even the Rover 218 Apocalypse car is still around, albeit off the road. ?

Another clue, being as the big reveal is tomorrow at around 1pm.

People will usually ask 'Does it have a ***** **** ****? Answer is no. I think.

Cosworth engine in?

Sierra with smokey 1.8 cvh, taped up nearside rear lense and some ironic fluffy dice hanging from the recently re-glued rear view mirror?

The blue ones?

Wellers from a Rickman Ranger, redrilled and painted in Lada Adriatic blue with a silver lip.

Hundreds* of years ago a friend of mine briefly had a 929 as his first company car. Someone senior had left the firm (and the 929) and the 1.3 Escort they’d ordered for him didn’t show up on time. He coped manfully with the disappointment.
