It had a cambelt at 131k in 2018, currently on 146k. I'll do plugs and leads etc and just drive it. Just bought breakdown cover for it which is probably pointless, but better safe than sorry eh? tooSavvy
Have you given any thought to 'simply scrappy sourced' 15" Renner steels.... Like a set with matching tyres. Some rummaging in the plastic dumpster could throw up half trendy set of 15" trims .... hmm = Vx https://forum.retro-rides.org/thread/207940/1990-toyota-carina-ii-estate DoctorRetro

DoctorRetro
Off to Norfolk today, going to hire a boat and have a bimble along the broads. Taken the Toyota, just because it's the nicest way to travel. DoctorRetro
Just got back. Fuel economy averaged at 47.8, which works out at 42.5 I think, once accounting for the 10% over read on the speedo. Happy days. CaptainBoom and Tickman

DoctorRetro
Picked up some wheel trims . Didn't factor in how stupid they'd look... The problem is, they don't really have a lip that extends out to the full 13 inch rim. So they're effectively 12 inch that fit on 13 inch wheels. 10 internet points to anyone who correctly identifies what they are from... crad, wuvvum, Dick Longbridge and 3 others 3

MorrisItalSLX
They look very similar to wheel trims fitted to Metros/Maestros/Montegos (and the Audi 80 for that matter), but they had logos moulded on them. You’ve really got me thinking here.
Spurious
My 100 has similar wheel trims. I don't know of any 80s Audi that used a 13in rim? Something else from the VW stable? The Jetta?
DoctorRetro
Ooh, have I stumped the AS massive? I got them because I like the Maestro trims, that @MorrisItalSLXmentioned. But no, they aren't an Austin Rover product, nor are they German or Japanese.
