Nissan Cedric, who the fk would call their child Cedric let alone a car

Or more to the point, the fact that to an Aussie, Cedric has a different meaning!

(Shall we be polite and say it means a 'Less than masculine' gentlemen)

Also, MINI............... this isn't irony, it's straight out taking the piss.

Entry level Renault Megane II was sold over here as "Renault Megane Manager". On the same note, entry level 407 was "407 Palladin".

PS: there is a "Dacia Logan/Sandero/MCV/Duster Laureate". It's really posh, it has electric windows and air-conditioning :D

Best* in 1.6 NAD form with an AM/LW radio although I think this is a Popular Plus, I seem to recall the one I had to put up with didn't have a rear wiper

"Escort Popular" also seems to be one to only image hunt in safe search mode, this internet is all bloody filth I tell you!

1988 E models appear to have a rear wiper but 1987 E's dont - A question probably not asked for around thirty years

For a trip down Misery lane I hunted down the performance figures for this trusty steed https://www.automobile-catalog.com/car/1987/942470/ford_escort_1_6_d_cl.html

Top speed:

146 km/h / 91 mph

0-60 mph (sec):

17.9

0-100 km/h (sec):

18.9

I'm not sure the word 'Endura' (and it's implied meaning) should go anywhere near Ka.

Image result for rusty ford ka

Wow!

My mate had a ka, he popped in to say his exhaust had fallen off, I expected it had come off the hanger, nope the exhaust was still attached to the hangers along with around 3" of a bit of floor.

Toyota Camry Executive: Base model with automatic gearbox, air conditioning and power steering. You didn’t even get hubcaps on your “executive” car.

Mazda 121 Fun Top: What’s so fun about finding your car has transformed into a bathtub after a light drizzle or discovering some twat has put a knife through it and nicked your prized cassette collection?

‘Manager’ is a long-running Renault name, you could get a 21 and 25 Manager in France in the 1980s.

I suppose it’s not that different from UK market entry level specs on various exec saloons named ‘Business Edition’.

No, you misread, Renault Mégane à manger.

You go out to lunch in it. Would have saved on badges, they could have just snapped the R off and had the UK version as the Mange.
