[Alex 'Wedge']

Car is a 1988 3.6 Sovereign, and is largely original save a few Alex modifications. The pictures can do the talking.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You may have seen that the car appears to retain its original stereo. Well, much as I love originality, I could not live with it, so I fitted a nice CD player that fits well. For show/security purposes it gets hidden with a front from an old scrap set that I had!

And lastly, here is it the day I bought it back in February 2007:

 

 

Since purchase, I have changed the alloys for non-metrics, fitted a new headlining and sunvisors from a later car, it has had the suspension rebuilt, new a/c fans, replacement stereo system and speakers (see above) and I have sorted a number of typical electrical gremlins.

I do like these old Jags, Lovely cruises for little cash, My dad's friend is talking about scrapping his 1990 4.0 Sovereign still that he's had from new, That's minter then mint with only with 50000 miles on it.Looking at yours makes me want to sell my 02 and buy his Jag instead!.
