23rdian
Hello all, Bit of advice required if you don't mind? I have seen a cheap minibus I like the look of but I have a crappy post 1997 driving licence. But confused? If I take most of the seats out? Or if they are not occupied? am I allowed to drive it? Thanks.
sutty2006
If it’s under 3.5 ton and it’s not for hire or reward then yes, yes you can. I’ve been through all the DVLA hoops due to using a minibus for Air cadet activities. You only need to take a D1 licence if you are getting payed for driving it. 23rdian
Thanks for the reply, it states revenue weight 3500kg on the Doovla check so it should be okay?
sutty2006
If your licence can hold 3.5 ton then anything under that’s gross vehicle weight is fine.
