Two volumes in total, makes for a good read if you're into Granada's. This was only 8 registrations lower than Regan's in The Sweeney. That’s interesting this doesn’t have a date but the back page mentions the 18 was due to be launched in the uk which might help date it. It doesn’t mention their F1 team which by 1979 was beginning to get some results.

Spottedlaurel
From Carweek, Car magazine's relatively short-lived offshoot to the weekly titles: Alfa Romeo Arna C655 DKL, Carweek magazine 23/11/94 by Spottedlaurel, on Flickr The Arna made it to 1997. Toyota Carina E, Top Fleet magazine 13/3/96 by Spottedlaurel, on Flickr 'Fantastic'. None of them lasted beyond 2010 (the cars that is, not the fleet managers, although a few too many jollies like this might also have seen some of them off prematurely). R14 GTLs came out in the UK in Autumn 1978. My father bought an early-ish GTL, WTH882T, registered on 1 Dec 1978. It survived until 1992. All our 14s had long lives, even though everyone knows* they were useless, terminally rotten and mechanical scrap after 18 months. Shep Shepherd
I'd love to see full articles from those early 1980s issues of PM. I find them totally fascinating, not least because I fondly remember the cars that feature in them when they were new and not so new
Richard_FM
I’ve found Practical Motorist had a good mix of old & new cars in features, rather than just use press cars & publicity pictures to illustrate articles. Shep Shepherd
