Gompo
Another update then.Still in London. Nothing of particular note unfortunately. Maybe next time.. A 121, shame it's not a Pride as they look mega cool on their whitewalls - This has got rear headrests though! I like these, not really shite unless repaired particularly badly. So many of these in London, cant think that last time I saw one around my current residence - loved on here too: This is a shame, early ones a lot nicer than the plastic fantastic later ones. This hadnt moved in 8 months or so. Love these, shame I'd not fit and probably die if I crashed it Like these, poor mans Interceptor? I think they deserve more respect to be honest. I doubt we'll ever see any new 2/3dr estates again. I dont mind these, there's been a bit of Beetle talk on here recently - what is this exactly? 4 to see here, I think it's an e34 in the back ground. I think the Jag was 'on the road' until it was hit. Rear door looks long, could it be an LWB? And another one..
Gompo
Well my last post on here didnt go down too well did it! Anyway, here's some more to potentially ogle.. "AS Doors and Glazing. Cant afford air conditioning in your home? Dont worry, our single glazed doors and windows will give you the feeling of being outside, inside."This BX wasnt meant to be found, I am pretty sure it was in recent use but was stuck up a grass drive in the middle of Forest Hill (London). Yes! This guy needs to be on here, what a fleet! Lovely abode too.. Always liked these, cooler than a regular 2cv (sorry..) QUAL - Fixed good and proper! Or is there an anchor in that boot? Well it's English and fibreglass.. I'd love one, without the chocco S6. Not noticed the roof's on these before, are they all 'Mini' style with that floating design (cant remember the proper name for it). I'd hit it. I've just clocked the headlamp eyelid things on this, do they all have that? They look a bit wanky.. Seemed in nice condition though. Not a lot to say, classy non-shite. Well it's English and fibreglass.. Oh shit, erm. I've used that excuse... Yeah. These are the poorer cousin to the normal Elan though arent they - I think I prefer them to be honest; atleast I'd have some chance of fitting in one. CP&T! I dont know what it is though, anyone? Also just noticed the mega shite part built rooflet effort on the house nextdoor. Good work on that, sure you'll get it done soon.. Cheers.. dollywobbler
Yup, all pre-13/60 Heralds had nice blingy headlamp trims. I like 'em.Love the shite-house, but you're obviously wrong about them Renner 4s! That said, I do think the Renner is effectively a shite 2CV, so it does have its perks.Me = car under cover indentification FAIL.
michiel
That Datsunnissan wagon is nice, good updates. Tarp thing has cool wheels, no clue though.
VWPowered
grille and wheels indicate this could be a early mk2 GTI (scirocco GTI's were only produced for afew years) only thing it misses from the early early mk2 (like the year before) is the single wiper... mouseflakes
CPT is intriguing - those are Momo alloys I think - as on this Alfetta... ...no idea what they are fitted to under the tarp though
seth
Yup, all pre-13/60 Heralds had nice blingy headlamp trims. I like 'em.1200s were still made after the introduction of the 13/60 but I'm sure you knoew that. Oh and there are two different versions of the "peaked" chrome trims - early cars had longer ones! Minor vans suffer terribly with those roof seams rotting out and its rather difficult to fix them properly.

Gompo
That yellow volvo is on the south circular or something isn't it?DW, Ours is a very late 1200, 189th from the last! Thanks for a more positive response guys , I still have a few pics to post unfortunately recent spots are few and far between. I took two pics yesterday, I dont think anyone will have ever had that particular sequence of cars pics though!Correct on the Volvo, going south into Tulse Hill, I'd wager Google Street View got a decent shot of it too.No idea on the CP&T, I too was looking at the wheels trying to figure out what it could be, was thinking Alfa/Fiat/Lancia. I am a bit far away to have a revisit unfortunately.I was maybe a bit harsh on the headlight trims, possibly because of the way way they've become a bit popular/'scene' a few years back. I remember a Mk2 Escort having them on it on RR and thinking it looked shit, but the owner was one of these 'it's different so it's good' types, which isnt always the case.. Mr_Bo11ox
Splendid work there Gompo! I like that Mk1 sierra with the bungee cord on the rear bumper best, looks like a real minter apart from that damage.
Gompo
..Time for another update I reckon, these photos arent 'new' as such but hopefully they will provide some interest.. Coming to some shit VAG mobile soon..??I sort of like these.. but they're blood expensive for what they are. Popular in Japan supposedly? This looked nice. Not sure what the deal with the seats is but was a nice motor all the same. Now then, what is happening here.. I cant help but think it could look pretty good with a few adjustments. Mirrors are 348% WANK and the headlight covers arent much better but atleast it's a bit different. I suppose on that note 'RR' would love itPub landlord class..Probably spotted before but who cares, we all know these are quality motorsDunno if this is looked after or what, tyres look ok, mirror folded in - somebody cares??This is in someone's back garden, it was one of those times you knew that there was something lurking over the other side of 8ft fencing panels. I really liked thisI'm sure this will be back on the road at somepoint soon, although you cannot rush a quality craftsmen, and his house is obviously taking precedent Hey! Actually, seeing as that pic isnt particularly new it's probably back on the mean streets again! Lets have a look: The vehicle details for A116 XFM are: Date of Liability 01 04 1997 Oh. Gompo
More old spots.. SHITE TRIKE. Quality Weller wheels, 250cc, checker plate - what more could you want? As tired as it looks.. A bit of geeky detail on the following. If you look at the mudflaps you can just about see that the front ones are 'Nissan' whereas the rears are 'Datsun': Really like these, especially the early ones: Class in abundance: Another one of these things.. Ok, so a bit controversial with this one. Very new, and modified. It didnt look bad in the metal though (better without tints) and I'm surely they're dead cert shite. That's it for now, more later possibly.. hope you're having a good one.
